Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with our 8th annual Birdathon!

The Wildlife Center of the North Coast Birdathon is kind of like a walkathon, except you count the bird species you see, instead of miles walked. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event that can be done in your own backyard (no matter where you live!) or on a socially distanced walk around your neighborhood. Participate solo or get your whole household in on the fun! Please remember to adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines while participating!

How to Participate:
All you have to do is count the birds you see from noon on May 9 through noon on May 10, then submit your count using this form: 2020 Birdathon Entry Form (also at bottom of page). Participation is free, but donations are always welcome if you feel so inclined!

Prize Package:

The individual or household team that counts the most species will win a prize package that includes a WCNC tote bag, hooded sweatshirt, t-shirt and sticker.
