The Wildlife Center of the North Coast (WCNC) in Astoria, Oregon is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Coordinator.
This position is responsible for the supervision of WCNC’s daily animal care, and performs a variety of animal health care duties including, but not limited to, performing examinations, administering medications, creating treatment plans, maintaining animal care records, supervising and training animal care volunteers, assisting with rescue and release, assisting in the creation and maintenance of clinic policies.
WCNC takes in most native wildlife species including raptors, waterfowl, passerines, some mammals, and we specialize in pelagic avian species. Applicants must have at least two years’ experience working in a wildlife rehabilitation facility, or similar field. Preference is given to those with previous supervisory experience, and experience with seabirds.
