Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th, from 10am until 5pm, both days, we will be hosting our inaugural Spring Open House and Native Plant Sale!
This event is great for all ages—there will be a booth with activities for kids, as well as tours of our facilities, and an education program at noon, both days, about who we are, what we do, and we will feature two of our live ambassador birds. We will also be holding a native plant sale where you can find trees, shrubs, and small plants of various native species—these make great gifts for upcoming Mother’s Day!
This event is free to attend, though a donation of $10 per car-load of attendees is encouraged–so bring the whole family!
This Spring Open House is a fundraiser for our wildlife hospital that will help to raise critical funds just in
time for the start of our busy baby season. Donations made at this event go directly towards providing food, medicines, quality medical care, and safe shelter for birds, mammals and other wildlife creatures in need, including our educational ambassador birds.
